Sketchbook Workshop

Would you like to feel more confident or imaginative when sketching outdoors?

Join me for a couple of hours in a beautiful setting at the Greenbank Hotel in Falmouth for this two hour workshop. 

We will be in the Riverbank Suite with wonderful views across the water to Flushing so there will be plenty to inspire us. The room also has doors to a balcony over the river so we can sketch outside in comfort.  Or you can wander down to the water's edge.

I will show you some of my recent sketchbooks and tell you about my favourite tricks and tools for sketching outdoors.  I will demonstrate how I use the different media and you will be able to try any of them out yourself.

My style as you probably know is quite loose and atmospheric.  I don't really do straight lines so don't worry if you feel you can't draw.

You will be encouraged to spend the time just enjoying the view and immersing yourself in the creative process.

The workshop is suitable for all abilities - those who already sketch but are looking to loosen up or those who have never sketched before.
