The Ebbing Tide

I am endlessly fascinated by the area between land and sea, especially when the tide has just gone out.  I love the reflections on the wet sand, the marks and history left by the outgoing tide, the exposed rocks and the feeling of both being in that moment and also the feeling of time passing and capturing a moment in time that will not come again.

The sea in Cornwall is so often this deep Prussian blue that you can really lose yourself in
